Setting-up Netscape to Send & Receive e-mails Using POP3 a/c

  • Start Netscape Mail and click on 'Create a new account' link.

  • Select 'Email account' option.
  • Click 'Next' button.

  • In the 'Your Name' prompt provide your full name. You can have spaces or fullstops also.
  • Type your complete email address for 'Email Address' prompt.
  • Click Next button.

  • Select 'POP' option.
  • Type m12.HamaraShehar.com for 'Incoming Server' option..
  • Click Next button.

  • Provide your full email address in 'User Name' prompt.. For example: tc@telugucartoons.com
  • Click Next button.

  • Provide account name for 'Account Name'. For example: 'Office Account'
  • Click Next button.

  • Click 'Finish' button.

  • Netscape will prompt you for password, if you have checked 'Download messages now' option in the prior step. If so, provide your password.
  • Click 'OK' button.

09.

  • Click on 'Edit' menu.
  • Click on 'Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings...' option.

10.

  • Click on 'Outgoing Server (SMTP)' option.
  • Specify 465 for 'Port'.
  • Select 'Always' for 'Use secure connection (SSL)' prompt.
  • Turn OFF 'User name and password' option.
  • Click on 'OK'button.

  • Now you are back to 'Netscape Mail' main screen.
  • Now, if you click on File > Get New Messages option, Netscape will download emails from the mail server.
  • You are set to send and receive emails using this new email account.
  • If you are not able to send and/or receive messages, send us an email with complete error message you see on the screen. If you do NOT send error messages in email, it will delay the whole process.
